2019 Charity Paint Giveaway
2019 Winner: Adult and Teen Challenge, Willamette Valley Men’s Campus in Shedd, OR
On Saturday, August 10th we had our first annual Paint It Forward event. We asked our local community to submit stories of a non-profit or people they know who are in need of painting and construction but can’t afford it due to some difficult times. We had a total of 30+ applications and all of them deserving of this giveaway. After much deliberation our team decided on Teen Challenge, the Willamette Valley men’s campus in Shedd Oregon. It is a great organization that touches many lives in our community. We were happy and excited to be able to bless them with this gift. They received a free color consult with our colorist Kelli Fitzpatrick, an entire exterior paint job and all the paint was donated by Sherwin Williams of Albany (Josh Burk). The Teen Challenge building also got two new windows for their building donated by Smith Glass, No Dinx donated free t-shirts for the volunteers, Pizzamore donated pizza for lunch, Dutch Bros had coffee made for the morning of, as well as $100 in supplies from COSTCO. The event got banners donated for the event by Xtreme Grafx and Sign Express as well as a lift for the second story areas from Sunbelt. Hawleywood photography donated their time to get pictures of the event, Vic’s roofing is addressing a leak problem for their roof and Oregon Rain Water donated water bottles for the volunteers. We will also be giving out thank you bags to all our volunteers with goodies from Fitzpatrick Painting and Construction, The Pendley Group at Remax Integrity and Hub City CrossFit! We are so happy to have been able to do this for a great organization in our community!
