Job Description
Plans, directs and coordinates activities pertaining to painting residential and commercial buildings in accordance with company policies, practices and governmental regulations. Will paint walls, ceilings, trim of residential and commercial buildings using brushes, rollers, and spray pumps. May remove old paint to prepare surface prior to painting.

- Ability to communicate in English orally and in writing in a professional manner with external and internal customers.
- Ability to lead crew members in a professional, respectful constructive manner promoting a safe, positive environment supporting our drug free work environment.
- Assure safety and quality standards are met, as set forth in the Fitzpatrick Painting, Inc. Safety Manual.
- Have basic math skills; add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers and fractions.
- Ability to solve practical problems
- Regularly works in outside conditions that may include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust, and finish fumes. Noise level is generally average level of a city sidewalk.
- Excellent stamina is required as duties require one to move and maneuver material and equipment weighing up to 55 pounds or more.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue and to effectively, jump, sprint or throw an object.
- Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.
- Be proficient with spraying, back brushing, texturing, and masking.
- Work on ladders up to 30 feet in height and climb all types of general use ladders and use
- personal fall protection equipment.
- Ability to safety and properly operate equipment and tools such as hand drills, sanding equipment, paint pumps, pressure washers
Special Requirements
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver license and proof of insurance and have full use of vehicle during business hours to travel to individual job sites during the day.
