We have chosen the Family Tree Relief Nursery as our
2021 Paint it Forward winner.
The Family Tree Relief Nursery is a nonprofit organization that helps families stay together as a family unit. It has been in the community for 15 years. They offer many programs including early childhood programs, drug and alcohol recovery, and parent education. They also help in-home, by training parents and families to develop skills to keep their children safe.
They have continued to help and do as much as they can during the COVID-19 outbreak. They’ve modified their programs to keep everyone safe during a very trying time. They created videos to continue to help, turned their fundraising events virtual, and did food deliveries for those that needed it.
Tim Fitzpatrick got to sit down with Renee and talk a little about what they do and what they need to help them continue to do their work. We look forward to working with them to get their building updated and working with our community to help out such a great organization.
